Intelligent System Design
Systems engineering is the academic field dedicated to creating, refining, and achieving desired functionality in various systems. For example, remotely operated automated control systems, autonomous mobile robots, drones, and networked control systems are typical systems we focus on. In such systems, challenges arise such as "how to control stably," "how to make decisions with limited information," and "how to optimize in uncertain environments." In our lab, Mechanical, Electrical, Information, and Control We are tackling these challenges by cross-connecting them.

State Estimation and Prediction
To these systems Learning Estimation Prediction and fuse them to realize more advanced and intelligent system designs. We emphasize not only simulation but also actual experiments, valuing the principle of "making theory move in reality."
To everyone considering joining a research lab
Before joining a lab, everyone feels anxious, wondering if they can keep up. However, in this lab, we advance our research by helping each other, both with peers and seniors. When you're stuck, those around you naturally offer support, and before you know it, you'll find yourself in a position to help others grow. Through research activities, you can cultivate not only knowledge but also the ability to think, the ability to debate, and the ability to make systems function.
Design a system intelligently
We create intelligent systems that will support future society and contribute to people's lives and their future. We continue our research activities so that students with such aspirations can grow into individuals who will play an active role in the world through their research.
Laboratory activities
In this laboratory, we actively present the results of our daily research activities at academic conferences, while also generating new ideas through active discussions among students and with faculty members. In addition to research, there are also many opportunities for laboratory events and exchanges, and we lead fulfilling student lives while stimulating each other.
